I studied bio-pharmaceutical sciences at Leiden University, obtained my PhD at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) and became a radiobiologist at MUMC+ thereafter I like exploring unknown areas of biology and how biological mechanisms interact. I address fundamental aspects of biology, but always with a keen eye for potential therapeutic opportunities to improve cancer therapy. I value curiosity, respect, courage and creativity.
