I am a visiting post-doc fellow from RWTH Aachen in Germany. After completing my basic medical education and obtaining a PhD in Cell Biology and Pathology from Charles University in Prague, I started my clinical residency in Radiation Oncology at the RWTH University Hospital in Aachen.
Alongside my residency training, I have been working primarily on radiation sensitivity of bladder cancer with a focus on DNA Damage Repair and genomic instability.
After completing my residency I obtained a funded fellowship to come to Maastricht to conduct translational research and broaden my spectrum of research. Here, I primarily focus on Glioblastoma and senescence.
