The primary objective of the project is to compare concurrent and sequential RCHT with respect to quality-adjusted survival (QAS) of elderly patients (≥75 years) with stage III NSCLC. Overall survival Quality-adjusted survival (QAS)

Primary Endpoint
Secondary Endpoints

• To perform a geriatric assessment in stage III NSCLC patients to distinguish patients fit enough to undergo intensified treatment and to develop a reliable and clinically applicable geriatric screening instrument to guide treatment decisions in stage III NSCLC;
• To compare concurrent and sequential RCHT with respect to overall and progression free survival, overall and lung-cancer specific quality of life (QoL) and preservation of independence
• To compare cost-effectiveness of sequential and concurrent RCHT for elderly patients with stage III NSCLC
