I have a background in Physics with Bachelor and Masters degrees from University of Sao Paulo and PhD from Heidelberg University.
My scientific training included numerical simulations and data acquisition, processing and modelling of astronomical objects. I have worked in industry as a data scientist for a couple of years and joined both Maastricht University and Maastro Clinic in 2021 as a senior researcher.
My areas of interest includes privacy-preserving analytics and semantic modelling. I believe patient's data can responsibly be used to improve patient's care and I really enjoy doing research to make this possible.
